Overview
Mapping your boxes allows Komet to apply a universal naming convention when it presents information to the other stakeholders in the K2K Network. This will improve the flow of information and avoid confusion with your K2K Connections and is used in K2K for Procurement and K2K for Sales.
Important
Boxes that are not mapped will not be offered to your K2K Connected customers. (Effective: November 2020)
Instructions
To map, find the Komet Box Code that best represents your box. For example, you may have three different Half Box sizes (HB1, HB2, & HB3). Map all three to the Komet Box Code "HB". Don't worry, the Komet system will "pass-through" the actual dimensions of your specific box for the item sold to the K2K Buyer Company and will use your dimensions on BOL, etc.
Appendix: Master Komet Box Codes
Komet Box Codes are used for screen presentation in K2K only and intended to help the K2K buyer visualize the box they are buying.
Note
When a box is sold its actual box dimensions are passed-through K2K to other stakeholders.
