Switching warehouse, what can I do?

If your company is considering moving to a different handling company, this article will provide a list of items that you need to take care of to have a successful transition.

 

 


Warehouse Setup:

The following items need to be set in Komet by a System Administrator:

  1. Setup a new shipping user in the system: Shipping Users

  2. Setup a new scanning user in the system: https://kometsales.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/12222677/User+Roles#Assign-a-User-Role

  3. Create a new integration token when necessary for the warehouse, granting access to the required methods: Tokens | Create a token

  4. Update the EDI options based on the accounts that will be used during the shipping process: https://kometsales.atlassian.net/wiki/x/0t4y

Handler Setup:

  1. Set up the printer(s) for remote printing following thePrinting ComponentandPrint Documents using Remote Printersarticles on our Knowledge base.

  2. Set up the scanners with your user/password:Scanner setup

  3. Provide the public IP address that will be used by the scanners (please contact Komet Support to process this request).

Note

Establish the dates the cut-off from one handler to the next will take place and notify Komet accordingly.
