Add or edit a Payment Method

In this article, you will learn how to add, edit, and delete payment methods according to your company's requirements.

User Roles: Admin and Setup.

Are you using Koronet Payments?

If you use our payment platform to process all your payments directly in Komet Sales, there is a better way to collect your customers' payment information. To learn how, please read Receive Payments with KoronetPayments | Request Payment Information.

Add Payment Method

  1. Go to Setup>Settings.

  2. Click on Payment Methods under the Account Receivables options.

  3. Click on Add a new payment method.

  4. Enter the method name, and click on Save.

This feature is for registering and tracking payments in your orders, not for receiving payments. If you want to receive payments directly in Komet Sales, you need to create a Koronet Payments account. To learn more, readKoronetPayments.

Edit a Payment Method

  1. Go to Setup>Settings.

  2. Click on Payment Methods under the Account Receivables options.

  3. Search for the Method you want to edit and click on Edit in the Actions column.

  4. Now, you can edit the Payment name. You can also activate or deactivate the payment method from here.
