Split a Prebook Product Line
Learn how to split Prebook Product Lines from the Prebook Summary and the system will replicate the changes on Purchase Orders and the Staging Area (if applicable).
Roles enabled to perform this action: Admin, Sales Manager, Sales, Allocations, and Procurement Manager.

Split a Product Line
To split a product line from a Prebook, do the following instructions:
Go to Prebooks & SOs and select Prebook Summary.
Search the Prebook you want to split.
Click on Edit in the Actions column.
Click on the button in the Actions column and select Split in the product line you want to split.
Review the information and edit if needed.
Enter the amount to split.
Click on Add.
If you enter a different customer when splitting a product, the system will try to find an existing Prebook that matches the Customer, Carrier, Truck Date, and Ship-To and add the items to it. The system will create a new Prebook if there is not one with the same information.
